SPLSPLINE — Smooth curve through fit pointsSee it in the command dictionary →

📝 How to do it yourself

  1. Type SPL and press Enter.
  2. Click the first fit point.
  3. Keep clicking points along the path you want. The curve follows them smoothly.
  4. Press Enter to finish. Press C before finishing to close the curve.

ℹ️ What SPLINE actually does

Draws a smooth free-form curve that passes through the points you pick. Unlike a polyline with arcs, a spline has continuous curvature with no visible joints.

When to use it

Use it for organic shapes, site contours, road centrelines, hand-drawn paths and anything that should look naturally curved rather than built from arcs.
